  • Liepāja, 31.01.2012. Radio Web Stars - Municipality of Bagnacavallo (Ravenna - Italija) meklē sadarbības partnerus( jauniešus ) web radio izveidē

MAIN FEATURES

We are willing to develop a European project to foster and promote young people's music and culture through a creative and innovative media that can easily trespass national boundaries: the web radio.
A project realized by young people and addressed to young people to facilitate their artistic expression and mobility.
A concrete way to develop collaboration of young people from different countries, to target new audiences and promote young people's music and culture with new and innovative technologies.
AIMS
- To develop together with the partners a new and alternative way to showcase, analyze and compare the music and culture of young peoples from different European countries
- To promote all participating web radio projects
- To create new partnerships among the participating web radios for the development of future and upcoming common activities
- To produce new information and documents to enrich the web radios broadcasts
- To develop stages and workshops with web and radio experts to help all participants realize and produce the necessary web radio programmes
- To promote local resources and experiences
- To point out young people's passions, tastes, habits, fashions in each participating area
- To stimulate the meeting and comparison among young people of different countries
- To let each local web radio staff plan and make events for the introduction of the
research results
- To let each radio organize a series of concerts with the most preferred foreign and local bands
THE IDEA
1° phase - the research

1) We are looking for a series of foreign partners who collaborate with youth web radio projects or who are willing to create such an experience
2) Together with such partners we would like to develop a series of workshops with web and radio experts in order to give young participants all technical information requested for the development of the whole project.

3) We would love to build together a special research in order to showcase the local
young people's music and culture in a creative and innovative way: habits,
experiences, tastes, ideas, places, organizations, opportunities, sub cultures, new
forms of entrepreneurship, etc. (i.e. what do young people do in each area? What
music do they listen? Where do they play? What are their bands like? What are their goals, dreams? What are the most preferred bands?, etc.). This research should be carried on each partner's area and should be realized and promoted with and by local youth web radio programmes
4) All along the research process, the web radio programmes could promote a series of polls on the most preferred musical playlists and the most preferred local bands.
2° phase - The experience exchange and the promotio n of the bands
1) The results of each research and the most preferred playlists could be shared and broadcasted by each participating web radio project
2) Each local web radio could promote another poll to make its own audience choose the most preferred band among the winners of the other countries polls
3) Each web radio staff could then organize and manage a mini promotional tour for the winning foreign band. This kind of mini tour could involve special broadcasting events, interviews and concerts of the foreign poll winners together with the local most preferred bands. The mini tours could also involve a series of activities to promote, share and discuss the results of each partner's research (i.e. meetings, videos, interviews, etc.)
Activities
- Partners research
- Ideas sharing and common development
- Local staff creation (young collaborators of the web radios and coordinating cultural
managers)
- Specific training for the making of the different phases of the project
- Creation and sharing of a common research method and radio format
- Description of the local young cultural and musical scene and selection of the
experiences to be showcased (schools, associations, rehearsing rooms, clubs,
theatres, etc.)
- Making of the research with polls, interviews, talks, debates, etc.
- Making of the web radio programmes
- Most preferred local playlists and most preferred bands polls making
- Research results exchange
- Most voted playlists exchange
- Promotional mini tour management: each partner/web radio hosts one of the foreign poll winner bands (interviews, radio shows, concerts together with local bands)
- Ideas sharing and future collaboration opportunities working-out
