Court of ArbitrationThe Arbitration Court of LCCI is an institutional arbitration attached to the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (founded in 1934), which traditionally provides distinct advantages of arbitration through its more flexible processes and wide enforceability award.The Arbitration Court of LCCI provides the settlement of international and local commercial disputes in accordance with the LCCI Rules of Arbitration. Where the parties have agreed, the Arbitration Court at LCCI may provide for the settlement of disputes in accordance with UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. The reputation of Arbitration Court of LCCI is well known in Latvia as the only arbitration institution, which has not a list of arbitrators and has Code of Ethics as a part of arbitration procedure. There are flaxible taxes of arbitration costs and terms for rendering an arbitration award in respect of small disputes (amounted of claim up to 1000 LVL) in accordance with the LCCI Rules of Arbitration for the small dispute settlement. |
